	<title>Chocolate Recipe</title>
	<description>
Soon winter will rear its ugly head and those who live in the Northern States will be unpacking their sweaters and mittens and always looking forward to the next warm place and a nice hot drink. This is the time when a hot chocolate recipe is more than welcome. Even if we have not had to spend the day outside, we still come home with a chill that can only be remedied by the sweetness of a comforting hot chocolate recipe. Forget the powdered packages that you can even get with some assorted freeze dried marshmellows--we hope you are after a bit more refined kind of hot chocolate recipe and we have got just what the doctor ordered.

The Ultimate Hot Chocolate Recipe
We call it the Ultimate because it kills two birds with one stone and tastes mighty good in the process! This is not your grandma's hot chocolate recipe, but one that a hits the spot after a long and grueling day, made worse by the blizzard conditions and the fact that it gets dark by 4 p.m. So, here you are, finally at home, hopefully in front of the fireplace where you are slowly thawing out. Now all you need is a nice spiked hot chocolate.

You need:

  1 ounce dark rum
  1 tablespoon whipped cream
  5 ounces hot cocoa
  1 teaspoon sugar

Mix the rum and the cocoa in a big coffee cup and sweeten it until it is just right. Put a dollop of cream on the top and sprinkle the whole works with some grated chocolate.

This is a favorite hot chocolate recipe that can really help you wind down and get settled into the warmth of home. It is also a great drink to serve over the holidays to all of the guests that come in and out of your house. This drink goes well with many other chocolate recipes as well. Serve it to friends and family and have everyone share their favorite chocolate cake recipe, chocolate chip cookie recipe, chocolate brownie recipe or any other chocolate dessert recipe. Maybe in the process you'll learn who the true chocolate lovers in the family really are. This can help you prepare for Christmas because you'll know who will appreciate a chocolate gift like Godiva chocolate.
